Lady Blue Bears Travel to Augusta

SALISBURY – The Livingstone College women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, November 29, with a non-conference matchup against Augusta University. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in Augusta, Ga.

The Lady Blue Bears capped a three-game home stand last Wednesday night with their third straight game in seven days, winning 69-58 over Queens University. Livingstone was led by junior Zena Lovette, who fired up 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Augusta University women's basketball team won a 61-51 non-conference game at Benedict College. The Jaguars captured their second game of the season and the first under new head coach Millette Green.

Recently, head coach Tiffany Silver was named CIAA Coach of the Week.
